We have a couple of important reminders for you this week!

Harvest Hype Night Donation Deadline

Our annual Heron Harvest & Hype Night on Friday, October 17th, is just around the corner, and the PTO could use your help to make it a spook-tacular success!
We are so grateful for your generosity. If you're able to donate, the PTO is in need of:

• CANDY (for the Trick or Treat Hallway)
• MILK JUGS (for the "ghost jug" project pictured on the original flyer)
• BOTTLED WATER
• VOLUNTEERS

To ensure we have everything ready for the big night, please drop off all donations at the VES office by Thursday, October 16th.

Important Dates & Accelerated Reader

Just a friendly reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 13th. Enjoy the long weekend!
Also, please remember that your students are able to take Accelerated Reader (AR) quizzes at home! This is a great way to keep those reading points going over the extended weekend. You can refer to the "AR for Parents" infographic for the easy steps on how to log in through the CCPS Launchpad.
