Hey Heron Families, welcome to the month of November! 🧡 This month is all about expressing gratitude and appreciation for our amazing students, dedicated families, and supportive community. We are so thankful for you!
🏃‍♀️ Get Ready for the Heron Hustle!
Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Heron Hustle Fun Run, is fast approaching on Friday, November 21st!
  • What: A super fun run where students seek sponsors to support their effort!
  • Goal: To raise crucial funds for new playground equipment and campus beautification!
  • Practice Time: Students will be practicing their hustle in PE class! Please ensure they come to school prepared with a water bottle and the appropriate footwear—sneakers are best!
  • Sign Up: Families can sign up to register students using the link here: MyBooster.com 
  • All students who register before November 12th will be entered into a raffle for a VES Swag Bag!
🌟 Focusing on Kindness & Manners
This month, we're also shining a spotlight on kindness. Students will be practicing being kind all year, but especially now! Look out for our Manners Monday initiative in the café, where students will focus on using kind words and great etiquette.
🍦 PTO Friday Reminder!
As a final reminder, Alligator Creamery is open every Friday! A portion of all sales goes directly to our PTO—a sweet way to support our school!
