We're excited to share our September Heron Highlights! Our students have made a fantastic start to the school year, doing a wonderful job of learning the SOAR expectations and Vineland CHAMPS rules. We are so proud of their hard work and positive behavior.
Attendance Tumbler
This school year, we're introducing something new and exciting: the Attendance Tumbler!
Every student's name is in the tumbler. Every 10 school days, we will draw names, and students who have been present every day without being tardy or leaving early will receive a reward. Winners will have their names put back into the tumbler, giving them the chance to win multiple times throughout the year!
PTO and SAC Meetings
We had a great turnout for our first SAC (School Advisory Council) and PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) meeting. If you'd like to join us for future meetings, you can find the dates on our website, Facebook page, and ParentSquare. We hope to see you there!
Important Reminders
  • P.E. outdoors: Students will be heading outside for P.E. this week. Please be sure they have a water bottle to stay hydrated in the hot weather.
  • The Arctic Alligator Creamery: We're excited to partner with The Arctic Alligator Creamery. A portion of the money spent there on Fridays will come back to the Vineland Elementary School PTO!
  • Uniforms: Students should be in uniform every day. If a student is not in uniform, they may receive a note in their planner asking for your help.
    • AR (Accelerated Reader) shirts from the 2025-2026 school year may be worn on Mondays.
    • AR shirts from previous years may be worn on Vineland Spirit Day Fridays.
We appreciate your support in helping all students follow the uniform policy.
